The summer 2019 Christian’s Expositor Issue is available now! The church has the greatest leader, the greatest mission, the greatest future of any institution on the earth. Sadly, many in the world today do not see the greatness of God in the church. It is common to hear the church marginalized, spoken of as something optional, or even worse, unimportant. These dangerous doctrines constantly surround us. We would do well to recall the greatness of God that is seen in the church. We would do well to recognize the great privilege we have in being part of the church. We must learn these truths, teach these truths, and defend these truths! One of the ways God helps us to understand the church is through the various images he uses to illustrate the church. This issue of the Christian’s Expositor explores the pictures God paints of the church in His Word.  Each of these pictures, when fully explored and understood, provides an important perspective on the church, helping us see her beauty. In each of these pictures, we can surely see the glory of God!
