Winter 2018 Issue: Answering Objections to Christianity
The Winter 2018 issue is available! Nearly 2,000 years ago, a new religion was born in the Roman occupied province of Palestine. Initially, the followers of Christ were dismissed as a heretical sect of the long-standing Jewish religion. As years moved on, Christianity grew, and it became quite clear this religion was not just a group of misguided Jews. Along with growth came severe persecution, and yet, still this fledgling religion grew. Today, Christianity is the largest religion in the world. Be that as it may, it still faces numerous opponents. People all over the world reject and deny Christianity for a variety of reasons. Billions of people cling to other religions such as Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam. Others claim to deny religion all-together, and object to Christianity on so called “scientific” grounds. So how do Christians today deal with these objections? Can Christians be sure that Christianity is THE religion to belong to, and can we confidently answer the objections of those whom we wish to share the gospel with? Yes! In this issue of The Christian’s Expositor, various men handle a variety of such objections, providing insight to bolster one’s faith and equip men and women to answer some of the primary objections they might face when sharing the gospel!
